The food is finished, but the greasy grid still needs attention. Grid Buddy is a dedicated soak-and-brush cleaner for braai grids, with internal brushes and a drain valve to keep the job in one place.

Let your cooled grid soak while you relax, then work it against the brushes, rinse and drain. A practical addition to your braai setup at home or at the campsite.

• Soak and brush in one container — loosen residue before working the grid against the internal brushes.
• Drain without tipping the whole unit — release the dirty water through the drain valve.
• Pack it away more easily — removable foot pieces help with storage and transport.
• Retrieve grids without handles — use the grid retriever to help lift them out.

Check your fit before ordering: measure your grid, including its handle and any protruding parts. The model size alone does not confirm that a particular grid will fit. Send us your grid measurements if you need help checking suitability.

How it works

1. Fill: add cold or warm water and non-toxic dishwashing liquid.
2. Soak: place your cooled-down grid inside and leave it for at least 60 minutes.
3. Brush: work the grid against the internal brushes to remove loosened residue.
4. Rinse and drain: rinse the grid with clean water as needed, then open the drain valve to empty the container.

Cleaning time and effort depend on the build-up on your grid. This is a soak-and-brush system, so brushing is still part of the process.
